AMERSA is unique, multi- and inter-disciplinary organization that attracts leaders and decision-makers in the fields of substance use disorder prevention and treatment from governmental organizations (federal, state, local), universities, healthcare delivery organizations, and more. Furthermore, as influential educators (e.g., MDs, DNPs, PhDs, PharmDs, DSWs, ARNPs, MSWs), AMERSA members are responsible for disseminating knowledge and guiding the next generation of addiction healthcare professionals. Reach this unique gathering of individuals with a Tabletop Exhibit or Resource Table at the impeccable professional meeting facilities of the InterContinental Mark Hopkins, San Francisco.

  • Exhibitor Guidelines:
    • Commercial entities may not be exhibitors.
    • No commercial product advertisement or materials are permitted in exhibits.
    • Materials must be educational and not promotional, submitted beforehand and reviewed by the AMERSA board
    • Representatives of exhibitors are permitted to register for and attend the meeting, but must keep their presence non-promotional
    • The AMERSA name may not be used in promotional advertising or news releases

    Non-Commercial Guidelines:
    1. Funds may be accepted as unrestricted donations or dedicated grants for a purpose already established by AMERSA and will be used in accordance with established AMERSA policies and guidelines
    2. No product advertisement in course or meeting materials is allowed in conjunction with non-commercial support. AMERSA educational materials must refer to all products by their generic names; and if products of granting firms are mentioned, pertinent alternatives to those products should be presented.
    3. Non-commercial firm support may be acknowledged in a printed program, and this should be limited to a general statement; e.g. “This meeting/course is supported in part by an educational grant from...”
    4. Representatives or non-commercial firms may be allowed to attend supported meetings or courses but must make their presence non-promotional.
    5. Exhibits by non-commercial firms maybe set up appropriately in a manner approved by the Board of Directors. Any material distributed by such firms must be Educational rather than promotional in nature.
    6. The AMERSA name, except about the reporting of scientific matters or of the public actions of the organizations, may not be used in promotional advertising or news releases
  • Exhibit Fees and Benefits

  • Tabletop Exhibit: $1,100 | $600 (non-profit) - One 6’ x 30’’ skirted table, two chairs, and one wastebasket is provided for each tabletop exhibit. Additional equipment such as electricity, internet, etc. is available at an additional cost, and should be negotiated with the hotel audiovisual services provider in advance of the conference. Expenses for additional needs will be the responsibility of the exhibitor.

    Resource Table: $500 - This lower cost alternative offers the opportunity to feature your materials on a display table in the registration area. Materials can include books, magazines, conference announcements, or any other free items. Materials will be displayed at the start of the conference and replenished as needed by AMERSA staff.

  • Cancellation Policy

    • Exhibitors withdrawing or cancelling an application on or before August 1, 2018 will forfeit 25% of the total cost paid.
    • Exhibitors cancelling after August 1, 2018, but on or before September 30, 2018, will forfeit 50% of the total cost paid.
    • Exhibitors cancelling after September 30, 2018, will forfeit 100% of the total cost paid.
