AMERSA welcomes one-page proposals for position statements throughout the year. The submitting author must be an AMERSA member and should use this rubric as a guideline for proposals. Proposals will be reviewed by the Board of Directors twice annually.
The deadline to submit for consideration for the April board meeting is February 28. The deadline for consideration at the October board meeting is August 31.
Reviewed proposals will be returned to submitting authors with feedback and next steps.
The deadlines for submitting approved completed position statements for board review are:
January 31 (Feb review)
February 28 (April review)
July 31 (Sept review)
August 31 (Oct review)
Authors should incorporate board feedback and submit finalized position statements by April 15 or October 15.
